We can't complain that we haven't had enough rain but at least we didn't have any forest fires so far this year, and it would appear that few chances remain.
I have posted the final chapters of the two Nymph Universe Stories. Boondock has been out-of-pocket, as in unreachable, and without his input I didn't feel comfortable continuing.
A bout of near pneumonia, I seem to have an ongoing predisposition toward that particular malady, slowed the process even more than usual as well.
I hope you enjoy the two chapters but I make no promises on other offerings, I've learned better.

Greetings from the stormy Ozarks
;
The ISP was out for most of the night and early morning. I was going into withdrawal. ISP came back up around Noon so symptoms have abated.
I have posted Chapter-2 of 'Mike and the Nymph' AND 'The Nymph That Stayed.'
Thanks to Boondock for the opportunity to putter around in the 'Nymph Dreams Universe.'
Still working on 'Kyle.' This is a fairly lengthy tale and has 6-7 chapters per book. I am presently working on book IV and Kyle is still in training...you have to understand, it covers a wide range but all formal training should soon be concluded, and he will get with the program.

Hello fellow campers;
Just a note to let folks know that I have four books of Kyle (Six to Seven chapters per book), ready to send to the editor but story is about half finished or maybe less. Depends on where the story takes me.
In addition, I am still working on:
'Mike and the Nymph' Ch. 2-and-'The Nymph That Stayed' up to Chapter 4-Nymph Dreams Universe stories.
'Blood Mole'-A MORFS Universe story.

Greetings;
As Mark Twain once said, "The report of my demise has been greatly exaggerated."
While it is true that I've been missing in action lately, although I did post a story in the Swarm Universe, and one in the Nymph Dreams Universe, I've actually been working on two more stories "Kyle" and one in the MORFS Universe.
I decided that for longer stories I would finish them before I posted them, that's fairer to the reader. I felt guilty when I couldn't write or post for one reason or another when I was writing the "Hoot Series."
I find a good story...and wait...and wait...and then it goes inactive or wanders off into the sunset never to be heard from again.
I have determined not to put my readers in that unenviable position.

This Swarm story is a bit different off down a rabbit trail and should not be construed as the true end of the Swarm Cycle Stories. That is reserved for the Thinking Hound Dog.
Greetings;
The saga has ended and Chapter 10 of Hooters is in Stormy Weather's hands.
It has been a fun run in spite of the difficulties encountered, ill health for Stormy, Mom, and yours truly. Bad weather, power outages, and ISP outages.
I wish to thank those hardy readers that stuck with us to the end, gave feedback, and constructive criticism, as well as some much needed critique, proof reading, and extra editing.
I am presently writing a new story called 'Kyle' that I hope folks will enjoy. I hope to have the story written before long and post it one chapter at a time over a period of weeks. In that way you will know for a certainty that the story is finished and I won't be under pressure caused by forces outside of my control.

Greetings to my long suffering readers;
Mother Nature has played havoc with my corner of the Ozarks this winter.
Ice storms, power outages--400,000 customers out of power ergo, no water--had to make a trip to Wally World when the roads were passable just to buy water to drink and flush.
Trees devastated with pine trees snapped into half a dozen pieces, hardwood trees stripped of branches, the tops broken out or the trunk split down the middle or all of the above, telephone poles snapped in two/three pieces. Estimates of another 2-4 weeks before the outlying areas have power back.
My 7 Kw generator ran for six days straight, and used 60% of a 250 gallon butane tank--good thing I just had it filled ($471.15), good things that's all I use that tank for.
I got the internet back finally, only to have it knocked out again a day and a half later when a T-storm's high wind toppled a wireless tower. I've had internet for 4 days out of 14 this month.
In the brief time that the internet was up I managed to transmit the final chapter of 'How Hoot It Is,' to Stormy Weather.
I know that a few of you are going to be bent out of shape that I have ended 'How Hoot It Is.' The saga is not over however, it will continue in 'Hooters.'
Hope you enjoy the chapter and go read 'Hooters,' knowing that the bunch, especially the MQ, will be up to something.
Be well;
